We are pleased and proud to have a partner in the University of Luxembourg that enables us to offer our experts and clients a scientifically sound personality tool at the highest level… ↓
…However, it is also important for us to emphasize that the practical benefits for our customers are just as important as the scientific aspects. The individual LUXX results profiles offer our customers significant added value in their everyday lives.
What is important is how well our customers can find themselves in their profile and whether this offers them new answers and solutions to their current professional and private questions and challenges.
Our many years of experience confirm to us and our experts that with LUXX we can offer a tool that is perceived as a real asset and generates enthusiasm.
The LUXX personality test was developed at the University of Luxembourg in 2016 and 2017, making it one of the latest developments in social science. It sets new qualitative standards in personality diagnostics.
It was developed to improve existing methods in motivation and personality diagnostics. Thanks to the selective motive scales, it offers clear advantages in individual case diagnostics and person-centered counselling.<br >
The Motivation Survey was developed for groups of 200 participants or more. This is now part of the LUXX Personality Toolset. It is a short version with 48 specially developed items. The Motivation Survey examines the emotional similarities in defined professional or interest groups. The results of the Motivation Survey are generally anonymous and do not provide individual results. Exemplary study results and more information can be found in the “Studies” section
The starting point was the review and modernization of existing motive concepts using current research methods. The LUXX test was validated and standardized in several studies. Several thousand items were developed and tested. The items selected for the questionnaire all have excellent psychometric values and therefore guarantee high scientific quality.
The key figures can be found in our scientific LUXX manual. This enables us to offer all users maximum transparency.
Thanks to clear-cut motives and high measurement accuracy, LUXX offers a deeper understanding and a better explanation of individual personality. The current and sustainable standardization ensures meaningful results in comparison to the general population.
This makes the individual uniqueness clear and comprehensible for every user. At the same time, they gain an understanding of the emotional differences between people. This is the enormous added value of LUXX in any kind of relationship between individuals or in groups of people.
The diagnostic results underline the enormous quality of LUXX. LUXX can map the uniqueness of personality against the backdrop of the many individual motif combinations. 152,587,890,625 individual motif profiles are possible.
The development, validation and documentation of the LUXXprofile were carried out in accordance with DIN 33430 and the standards of the AERA, APA and the National Council on Measurement in Education.
The LUXXprofile was developed by the Computer-Based Assessment group at the University of Luxembourg under the direction of Prof. Dr. Samuel Greiff and with the collaboration of Prof. Dr. Christoph Kemper. The group is also responsible for PISA test procedures on behalf of the OECD. Peter Boltersdorf, Managing Director of LUXX United GmbH, played a key role in its development.
Transparency was a central criterion, which is why the University of Luxembourg holds the license to a short scale that is freely available to non-commercial research.
The short scale of LUXX United GmbH, the Motivation Survey, was developed as an independent procedure by Prof. Dr. Christoph Kemper.
